Artists!
Creativity and freedom of expression are undeniable features of
Take Back The Night. Help us illuminate the darkness of sexual violence
by creating an original tee shirt design promoting 10 Points of
Light.
Submit up to three graphic designs for consideration as the featured
art for the limited- edition tee-shirt promoting the event. Contest
ends Monday, February 28, 2011 at 5pm EST.
Lend your creative skills to support our efforts to shatter the
silence and stop the violence!

Submission Guidelines
For Files
- Vector file format (.ai or .eps) is preferred, but we will
accept a high-resolution .jpeg, .gif, .png, or .tiff file with
a minimum resolution of 600 pixels per inch.
- File size MUST be 5MB or less
For Images
- Must include 10Points of Light 3-color logo (available upon
receipt of your signed Trademark Usage Application)
- Must use the following colors: TBTN Blue (PMS 2935), TBTN
Purple (PMS 2425), black or white
- Must include the title of the event (10 Points of Light
to Take Back The Night) and event date (April 28, 2011)
- The design will support the TBTN Foundation’s mission and
be in good taste
Other Considerations
Artistic Works Release Consent and Agreement
I hereby irrevocably agree and consent that the Take Back The
Night Foundation, commonly referred to as “Take Back the Night”
or “TBTN” (ORGANIZATION), may use all or part of the ARTISTIC WORKS
created by me and submitted to the Take Back The Night Foundation
in the Empowerment T-Shirt, Music and/or Poster Contest or otherwise
submitted to ORGANIZATION, as a donation to the 10 Points of Light
Tee Shirt Design Contest or as a contribution for the organization,
for any purpose of their choosing.
ORGANIZATION has the right to use my music, lyrics, or visual
art works (collectively or individually referred to as ARTISTIC
WORKS) in any way ORGANIZATION sees fit. ORGANIZATION reserves the
right to edit ARTISTIC WORKS, and all ARTISTIC WORKS become the
property of ORGANIZATION. I shall not now – nor at any future time
- be entitled to, nor shall I make claim to: 1) any wages, royalties
or compensation of any kind for my ARTISTIC WORKS as used by ORGANIZATION;
and/or 2) ownership or executive interests in my ARTISTIC WORKS
as used by ORGANIZATION. The rights granted herein to ORGANIZATION
are perpetual, worldwide, and include the use of my ARTISTIC WORKS
in any print, sound, digital or electronic medium available now
or that may become available in the future - including, but not
limited to, print media, broadcast television, radio, cable television,
satellite television, the Internet, CD, DVD, and VHS.
I choose to contribute ownership of my ARTISTIC WORKS to
ORGANIZATION and receive charitable contribution credit for doing
so.
No other agreement, statement, or promise not contained or referenced
in this “Artistic Works Release Consent and Agreement” shall be
valid or binding. ORGANIZATION is not obliged to make any use of
my ARTISTIC WORKS or exercise any of the rights granted to them
by this release.
All rights granted herein, by me to ORGANIZATION, as well as
all terms of this agreement and consent, shall insure to the benefit
of the successors and assigns of ORGANIZATION.
